Paceon is a habit tracker. This page says what it stores, where it is kept, who else can see it, and how long it lasts.

What Paceon stores

Your account

The name you chose, your email address, and your password. The password is stored only as a hash, so nobody — including us — can read it back. The email address is what you sign in with, and it is the address a password reset link is sent to.

Your habits

On the free plan your habits and the entries you record stay on your phone. They are never sent to the server.

On Plus they are also synced, so a new phone can pick up where the old one left off. What is synced is the habit itself — its name, an optional note, how often it repeats, an optional reminder time — and the entries you record against it, each one a date and a value.

Your subscription

Plus is sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; Paceon never sees your card, your billing address, or your Apple ID. Our subscription provider, RevenueCat, tells the server only whether your subscription is currently active, so the app knows whether to unlock Plus.

What Paceon does not do

• No analytics, no advertising, and no tracking libraries of any kind.
• Nothing is sold or handed to advertisers or data brokers.
• No access to your location, contacts, photos, microphone, or health data.
• Reminders are scheduled by your phone itself. The text of a reminder never leaves the device.

Who else handles this data

• Apple — takes the payment and manages the subscription.
• RevenueCat — tells the server whether the subscription is active.
• Our hosting provider — runs the server the synced data sits on.
• Our email provider — delivers password reset emails.

Each of these is given only what it needs to do that one job.

How long it is kept

• Account details are kept until you delete the account.
• Synced habits are kept while Plus is active. If Plus ends, the copy on the server is kept for 30 more days — long enough to change your mind or fix a card — and then deleted automatically. The copy on your phone is not touched.
• Deleting your account deletes the account and everything synced with it. You can do this yourself in the app: Profile, then Account, then Delete account.

Children

Paceon is not directed at children under 13, and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that affects what is collected will also be announced in the app.
